Teen Staff (Leadership Discipleship Program Participants)

Camp Good News is looking for young people who are 15+ and who are interested spending their summer serving the Lord and growing their faith. There are many ways to serve, learn and grow at Summer Camp. Spend your days volunteering in areas like group helpers (counselors), kitchen helpers, maintenance, sports and crafts. Spend your evenings being discipled by the adult staff at camp.

College Staff

Camp Good News is looking for 4 Collegian(or older) staff to serve as our CORE summer leaders. These CORE summer leaders must be willing to serve 8 of the 9 weeks of summer camp plus attend training camp. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about serving the Lord, sharing the gospel and discipling younger teens, have a clear testimony of salvation, and are involved in their local church. These individuals will receive a stipend for their work.

Adult Staff

Camp Good News is looking for Adult Staff (over 22) to serve at camp. We need cooks, counselors, weekly program leaders, Bible Teachers (Lesson material provided) and a Camp nurse. These can be 1 or more weeks. These are volunteer positions.

Camp Coordinator Assistants 

Camp Good News is looking for a couple to stay at camp and assist our Camp Coordinators/Director. Individuals must have a clear testimony of salvation, a passion for sharing the gospel, a passion for discipleship, be involved in a church and like working with children and teens.

Duties might include (shared between the couple) helping with camper correction, first aid, some office work, possibly some maintence and helping with teen discipleship.

Qualifications:  

Committed follower of Jesus Christ

Teachable Spirit, desire to grow in God's word
Love working with children ages 5-12
